These Terms of Service govern:

Your use of the website located at https://www.buildingplastics.co.uk (“the Website”); and

The purchase and supply of any goods or services from Building Plastics (Wales) Ltd (“the Company”, “we”, “our” or “us”).
By accessing our Website or purchasing goods or services from us, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Website or place orders with us.
We reserve the right to amend these Terms at any time. Updates will be published on this page and take effect immediately.
1. Website Use
1.1 Limitations of Use
You agree not to:

Modify, copy, decompile, or reverse-engineer any Website content or software.

Remove copyright or proprietary notices from Website materials.

Mirror or reproduce Website content without permission.

Use the Website in a way that disrupts our networks or services.

Post or transmit unlawful, fraudulent, obscene, or harassing content.

Use the Website to send unauthorised advertising or spam.

Harvest or collect user data without consent.
1.2 Intellectual Property
All intellectual property on the Website is owned by or licensed to Building Plastics (Wales) Ltd. Users are permitted a limited, revocable licence to download one copy of Website materials for personal, non-commercial use.
This licence terminates automatically upon breach of these Terms.
2. Orders, Delivery & Risk
2.1 Delivery

Delivery dates are estimates only. We are not liable for losses caused by delivery delays.

Risk in goods passes to the Customer upon delivery.

Do not book fitters, scaffolding, or contractors until you have received and checked your goods. We are not liable for any related losses or costs.
2.2 Replacements for Damaged Items
-
Goods must be checked on delivery. If the driver cannot wait, please sign as “unchecked”.

Damage must be reported within 2 days of delivery to info@buildingplastics.co.uk, with photos, product codes, and batch numbers.

Claims outside this period may be rejected.

Panels are sold in pack quantities; replacements/returns must be for full packs.
3. Storage & Handling

Remove protective wrapping promptly after delivery. Heat build-up can cause warping.

Store goods in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight.
-
Replacement products will not be sent if damage arises from improper storage.
4. Returns & Cancellations
4.1 Returns
-
Unwanted items may be returned within 30 days of receipt.
-
A 20% handling charge applies for returns after 7 days.

Returns must be in perfect resale condition: packaging intact, goods unused, not cut/drilled, fittings unopened.

Customers are responsible for return costs.
Exclusions:
-
Made-to-measure items (e.g. windows, doors, conservatories, fencing, coloured products, EPDM rubber cut to size) cannot be returned.

Goods supplied “free of charge” may incur a delivery charge deduction on return.
4.2 Distance Selling (Consumer)

Consumers may cancel within 7 working days of delivery, under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.

Refunds will be processed within 30 days of cancellation, provided goods are returned in original condition.
5. Payments

All payments must be made in full and cleared before delivery unless a credit account has been agreed in writing.

Trade accounts may be offered 30 days End of Month (EOM) terms.

Late payments: Interest may be charged at 8% above Bank of England Base Rate, plus reasonable recovery costs, under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.
6. Liability

Goods and Website are provided “as is”.

To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties (express or implied).

We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses including loss of profit, revenue, goodwill, savings, or data.

Our total liability is limited to the value of goods supplied under the relevant order.
7. Termination
We may suspend or terminate Website access or cancel orders if you breach these Terms.
8. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales. Disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England & Wales.
