Freefoam has advised that disruption linked to the ongoing Middle East situation is putting pressure on global supply chains, material availability, manufacturing costs and transport. The business says the surcharge is a short-term measure intended to help maintain product availability and service continuity.

Swish has said the Middle East conflict has created significant volatility in energy, raw materials and additive markets, increasing both manufacturing and delivery costs across the UK. The company also noted that raw material prices rose sharply in March and were expected to increase further in April.
