Delivery & Returns

We will accept any unwanted items up to 30 days after receiving your order. We will charge a 20% handling charge for any items returned after 7 days of receiving your order, to cover re-stocking costs.

Please in the first instance within the 30 day period fill out the returns form here and we will provide you with a returns note number. This will help us identify your items when it arrives at our warehouse (A returns note number is not compulsory although it will speed up the refund process).

The cost of returns must be covered by the customer, we unfortunately do not provide a collection service. The returned items must be in perfect " as new" condition, therefore cellophane protection should not be removed, goods not cut or drilled, fittings must not have been fitted and any displayed packaged items must not of been opened. Please note that where items are sent "Free of charge" at our discretion we reserve the right to charge the delivery charge that was incurred delivering the items.

Please note that made to measure orders e.g. Windows, Doors, Conservatories, Door Canopies, Fencing, Sable Coloured Products, etc. cannot be returned and are excluded from the distance selling regulations.

Any returns can be sent to the address below after receiving your returns note number. ( If Requested)

DO NOT BOOK IN FITTERS, SCAFFOLDING OR ANY OTHER CONTRACTING SERVICES BEFORE YOU RECEIVE YOUR GOODS.

WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR ANY LOSS OF EARNINGS OR COSTINGS.

YOU WILL BE EMAILED ONCE GOODS HAVE BEEN DISPATCHED.


Important Information

Please remove the protective wrapping as soon as possible after delivery. The reason for this is the inner temperature can get that hot due to a green house effect that the inner contents will warp. Replacement products will not be sent out.

Storage

Please store the products after delivery out of the protective wrapper in a cool dry place out of direct sunlight.

Distance Selling Regulations

Orders may be cancelled within 7 working days without giving a reason. The customer is responsible for all charges incurred returning goods, which will differ from that of the delivery charge. All other monies paid will be refunded within 30 days, The 7 day cancellation period will commence on the day following the customer receiving their order. Goods must be returned in the same condition as delivered, therefore cellophane protection should not be removed and goods not cut or drilled. Boxed items must be returned complete, not part used. After 7 days a 20% handling charge will be applied to all returned goods. Made to measure goods are excluded from this clauses.

When returning unwanted items it is advisable to use a service that can be tracked and proof of delivery available.

Replacements (Damaged Or Faulty Items)

Free replacements for damaged items is only possible if you check your parcels for any signs of damage before signing for your delivery. If you are unable to check, or the driver will not wait, please sign as 'unchecked'. If signing as unchecked, please notify us of any damage by email on info@buildingplastics.co.uk, within two days of receiving your delivery. Please include, pictures of the damages, along with the product codes and quantities of the damaged goods. We will only be able to investigate damage if these guidelines are followed. Any damages reported after this period could be deemed to have occurred whilst the items were in your care and no claims will be possible. Please note that all panels are sold in pack quantities and any returns and or exchanges must be for full packs. Please make a note of the batch numbers for all panels received, without a batch number we would not be able to match to anything already supplied
